An issue was discovered by Elastic whereby sensitive information is recorded in Kibana logs in the event of an error. The error message recorded in the log may contain account credentials for the
kibana_systemuser, API Keys, and credentials of Kibana end users.Nov 15, 2023 Update: After additional investigation, it has been determined that Kibana 7.x versions are not affected by this issue. We previously reported this issue impacted Kibana versions before 7.17.15.
